Sport Adventura’s base gives us easy access to the best valleys in the Pyrénées,

and each day we can choose between the flying sites in these valleys.

The range of sites is suitable for all wind directions.

Our favoured sites are based between the towns of Arreau and St Girons on the French side of the Pyrénées.

There is a wide variety of character between the sites,
enabling you to get a broad range of flights, and really build your experience of flying.

Sites vary in height from 1000ft to over 4000ft and in topology giving different types of lift.

As always mountain weather can at times become quite strong,
either with valley or Foehn winds, and in these cases we have very well protected sites that can be flown instead should conditions be unfavourable elsewhere.

 

Site selection is based each day on the ability and aspirations of the pilots we have with us, as well of course as the weather,
to give you the type of flying you’re after.

 As one would expect on the continent, there is no significant walking to be done to reach take-off.
