'The Col du Tourmalet kicks ass... in a humble kind of way'

7 days Cycling Holiday 480 Euros

Our famous weekly cycling holidays, which run anytime from April to November, remain a firm favourite.

Ride as high and as far as you want.

See out Typical Itineraries for examples of the type of rides you can expect.

Enjoy the combination of challenging cycling and delightful landscape.

The French Pyrénées and surrounding areas give a range of rides,
from the famous big mountain passes such as the Col du Tourmalet, Col d’Aspin and Pla d'Adet, to rolling foothills and flatlands all within a few kilometres of Sport Adventura.

With great weather lasting until the beginning of November,
you can enjoy riding out here long after you've started using your winter kit back home.

With us, you will be following varied road cycling routes every day throughout the high mountains of the Pyrénées and the surrounding hills.

All roads lead upward!

To give you the best variety of routes, we will carefully drive you and your bikes to different parts of the local area each day.

There you begin the day’s ride on one of our carefully tested routes which has been picked to match the type of riding you’re after.

You will be able to see as much of the central Pyrénées as you would on a whole tour, whilst having the pleasure of the staying in the same accommodation throughout.

Throughout the day you are followed by our support vehicle.

No need for you to carry spares, multiple water bottles and food, giving you a lighter load on the bike.

If you're not feeling great that day, you can always sit out a section of the ride.

Sport Adventura organises Airport pick up for bike and rider every Saturday between 9am and 7pm from Toulouse airport free of charge.

Most of our guests bring their own bikes.  With careful packing and protection these can be carried safely by plane.

Alternatively, you can use the European Bike Express bus, trains or car to reach us.

For those who are less particular about the bikes, we have a range of road bikes that you can hire.

Before bringing your bike, consider whether it is suitable for the climbs and descents you will find.  Gears lower than 39 / 23 are going to help.

As a guest you are also strongly advised to bring a helmet with you, as you are fully responsible for your own safety.
